Need a deep cleaning?  We are proud to offer Oraqix, a needle free alternative for cleanings and deep cleanings.   Many of my colleagues have had great success with it, also.   Oraqix also doesn't deeply numb your tongue and lip for hours like a conventional block injection on the lower.   It especially makes a difference in the upper, where it can take four injections to numb a quarter of your mouth.

Dental researchers spent years to develop an injection-free anesthesia that could be administered prior to vital periodontal procedures in order to avoid patients’ needle anxieties. The result of this research is Oraqix (lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel) 2.5%/2.5%, the first and only FDA approved subgingival anesthetic that allows patients to experience needle-free deep cleaning procedures.

We're proud to offer Oraqix for a very modest amount.  While most offices charge $50 for convenience of injection-free deep cleanings, we are charging a more reasonable $10 per cartridge, which usually covers two quadrants of deep cleaning.

Most of our patients do not require a deep cleaning, but it's nice to know the options are there when you need them.
